I couldn't seem to get my puppet to haste party members. curing, na, no issue.
Is it double water to do that?

From the update notes
•Automatons may now learn the following spells:
Protect (I-V) / Shell (I-V) / Stoneskin / Haste / Phalanx / Erase / Absorb-Attri / Dispel / Dread Spikes / Addle / Regen IV
*Phalanx and Stoneskin will only be cast upon the master.
*Protect, Shell, and Haste will only be cast upon the master and party members.
I guess it's aligned to no maneuver with a chance that it is only casted on the tanking party member.
yeah as long as you're buffed ( in range of the automaton ) one water will do the trick. I was hasting and buffing the tank while we were farming bones for the old rarab tails. It will always fully buff you before it moves onto buffing anyone else from what I can see. I haven't tested if it will buff a 3rd person ( You first, person with hate next, then someone else who isn't buffed ) though yet, at the time it was just an apoc(Urteil) DRK and myself farming.
Why have I never known this about the Water Manuv?
Update notes are totally unreliable for that assumption, because:
Absorb-Attri requires a dark maneuver to trigger, just like Absorb-Int (it also, along with dispel, requires a buff to be present)
Dread spikes requires/d 2 dark maneuvers and the puppet to have hate to be cast (I don't remember if they changed this or not, I didn't really care)
the puppet has always required a water maneuver to cast regen/-na spells on party memebers.
