Apologies again for the bug, but at the current time we do not have any plans of enabling the status effects from Mythic and Relic weapons when equipped as a sub-weapon. Only Empyrean weapons' status effects are enabled while in the sub-weapon slot.

This makes absolutely no sense given the fact you allowed other weapons with similar stats/effects to retain the visible stats. Is this some kind of blanket response? Is it because making visible stats active but hiddent effects inactive is too hard (the bug proved this wasn't so since only +att on relics were working)?

Examples? Blau Dolch retained latent and hidden effects in offhand. All 1-handed emps retain +stat in offhand. Any other weapon with +str/att (which serves two purposes of raising fstr and pdif compared to relics pdif only) works in offhand. Various other weapons also, including some of the new better weapons such as corsicanti (when it worked on test server)....really...what is the reason behind disallowing +35 (soon +40) to work in offhand?

Considering how they don't want legit players to even have them, this might simply be something they over-looked when making the Relics a bit more available.
I could almost see myself making one even, but I don't think I will be going for it.
That said, those who actually have the players (or other) behind them to support them in creating these, are likely to have more than one in use and could maybe even use some of them at the same time and so...

Dare I say, balance, is the likely reasoning. ^^;

And no, I am not saying every Relic/et cetera owner is a cheater, or a manipulating evil person, or other, so if you have one or more, please, take no offense from this as it is certainly not intended. :]
