    Exactly....the day this all went live on test server I posted about the fact it was working in offhand. Almost a month later and they just now notice this?!? I don't even see how +att/+macc working in offhand is unbalanced either. With mythics I can see other additional aspects (job ability augments) being bad...but only thing on relic working is +att. Hidden, additional effects, and ws still don't work which is fine...but +att should at least work in offhand. Especially when looking at Emp or any other weapon with +stat/att works in offhand....+tp bonus.....latent effects, hidden effects (blau dolch, etc) but having relic +att is unbalanced? Really?

    Wow not rewarding completion-ism by making 2 good things only as good as 1 good thing. GJ. That is a fantastic way to reward people for loyally playing your game for years.

    I hate to be complaining, but we are talking about items that take weeks, months, or years to complete. Why are you cutting short the maximum amount of longevity that a player can actually enjoy this game?

    Give people things to work for or expect them to go elsewhere when they are bored. Elsewhere doesn't include FFXIV. We all obviously think FFXI > FFXIV. So fix it or lose us at some point.

    This is bullcrap. The added effects should have always worked offhand, the ODD/OTD from relics should work offhand too. Why is it every 2 handed melee can have ODD/OTD on every attack, and 1 handed melees, who do way less damage then them, get it on only half their attacks? This was always a stupid thing to do on SE's part, and letting relics have the +attack offhanded was at least a compromise. To find out it was a mistake and they plan on taking it away is insulting and infuriating.

    Same reason 2H weapons get 3 attack for every 4 STR and 3 ACC for every 4 DEX. Because the devs just love 2H weapons more than 1H.

    It was always asinine that off-handed gear (barring shields/grips) did nothing. Isn't that why you GOT them in the 1st place? And one other thing... what if you are left handed? asshats

    Thing is, 2hand can't have ODD on every hit. Like all other relics it only procs on the first hit of every round if it is going to even proc at all. I'm starting to wonder if the Reps are afraid to respond to anything at the moment, been almost a week since update went live and not a word from any of them. Is this SE's way of saying "Ignore them, we aren't changing what we decided on."

    I'd really like some clarification on if it is just the JA portion of mything broken, or if it is anything at all working in offhand. If so, I'd also like an explanation as to why +macc/att working in offhand is unbalanced when other weapon effects work in offhand. This is one of those fixes that shouldn't be fixed and for once I'd like a better explanation than "It wasn't intended to work anyway" I want to know why it isn't allowed to work. If a rep comes in and says "it is to maintain game balance" then they better be ready to explain how a +11str +22att (~+28att) in offhand isn't unbalanced, but +35 att is.
