That's the thing. Do people seriously still use internet explorer or do they just ignore the big, red squiggly lines under every other word they type whenever they write a post? Spellcheck is standard in every browser worth a damn.

If you can't spell, you hopefully aren't old enough to play this game anyways. You know it's against the rules for children under the age of 13 to register, right? If you're over 13 and still can't spell, you may want to put a disclaimer in your sig about your learning disability like that other chick. No one makes fun of her.

I was trying to help everyone out (you especially) by suggesting that you use spell check. Not because it makes me happy to see well worded posts, but because it keeps people from changing the topic from what you are talking about into a debate about spelling and grammar. I wasn't trying to make fun of you at all, but given the fact that almost every modern browser has built in spell checking capabilities, I can only assume that you are purposely ignoring it and posting misspelled words and poor grammar intentionally. As annoying as it is to go back and correct mistakes, it's still worth it if it save you from having people change the topic from the level 99 LB ->> to "you mispelled kat you dummy".

The only reason I'm even discussing it is because that's really all there is left to discuss in this particular thread.

The fight wasn't that bad since you're 99, when you get more experience with forums/internet you won't be so touchy about how people respond to you, that's how this stuff works.

Sadly there are people though who want to just read about winning strats also and not have to read through fights between others over the fact they listed what worked for them or about how others want to do their homework (look over winning strats of others to find a solution best suited for their ls) and I for one thought that is what this forum page was about. -.-

I still hope people who are still catching up and have been waiting (doing their homework for say) can read past that and get an idea of how this taru works and come around to getting their LB done and join us on the 99 level.
Now I get some people didn't like the challenge he proposed (challenge as in finding the right combination of jobs best suited for your skills to fight him with, ect.) as others screamed he was a roll out of the car push over but if you think back to CoP pot fight with the two blm pots and two rdm pots that was, in my opinion, a challenge as well back in the day of 75s.

To me (IN MY OPINION) this fight was fun because it took me a few tries of reading about the damage this guy gives and based on others failed and won attempts, trying my own combinations, trying my bosses combinations, and then finally a tossed together shout group to get it done. It's not that bad of a fight if you look at it from a funny point of view; a good example: "A little taru wants to be a big gulka and try and kick your butt. Are you going to let him? Hell no.....opps spoke to soon. Okay rethink the strat.A few hours later, okay he wants to kick our butt. Not going to happen then boom you win. He goes and cries in a corner throwing a taru tantrum. You and your comrades celebrate and go get your levels & skills." I just took that thought into mind, laughed my way through the fight (all 4 times) and bing-bada-boom 99 access. I and a few friends did this also with CoP & Zillart and it seemed to have worked sense we are on Apoc nigh.

It is really sad that there aren't no true help and honest forum pages on here I've read that does not have bashing and fights breaking out because someone said (typed) something someone else couldn't agree with. No offense to S.E. but highly thinking there forum idea is more and more a big mistake sense very few forum topics are actually of people helping and not bashing others for simple errors or for having a thought of their own. That is my opinion and I am sticking to it.

You want to discuss fight strats and stuff I'll be more then welcoming to talk about them. Just wished that was what the forum was...oh well so much for wishful thinking.

For the record: I was trying to point out to the intentionally illiterate poster that in order to keep this thread on topic, it would help if they didn't purposely make their grammar and spelling an easy target for people to make fun of and thus derail the thread. Their response full of purposely misspelled words showed that they were in fact more interested in derailing the thread than posting winning strategies.

ON TOPIC: Basic strategies that have worked for me are:

No Tail) Paladin, whm, and any job that can dual wield and / or use multi-hit weapon skills in rapid succession.

With Tails) Any six jobs that can deal a lot of damage from a distance and / or pet jobs.
