Not everyone that found it a challenged brewed Turul.I thought it was fun and a tiny bit of a challenge. Granted I went after Turul with groups of 8+ people but we never brewed him. Mainly just wanted to make sure we had enough around to proc his sorry butt not including the ls I was in at the time thought it would be fun to fight him on our way to the zone boss for members who needed him. Enough said. Have a great Holiday everyone and those traveling near and far take care.

I didn't find this LB the least bit fun, as for a challenge I don't see it...
the problem those people who see this as a challenge are having is not having a plan going in....
if you don't know anything about this fight go in the first time expecting to lose so you can make a plan, if you have at least one player in your PT that knows this fight you should do fine
again, he is nothing but an overpowered mob, timing is pretty much everything with him
Try to have fun or it isn't worth playing
I did this again with another set up - rather surprisingly easy win - perhaps because 2 lvl 99 was helping?
5 beastmaster with 1 summoner. All beasts got buffed by summoner's hastega, blinkga, stoneskinga, and enfire. All beast use goey gerard and brought 3-5 dawn muslum. Beastmaster's use their two hours and engage, use reward and dawn muslum when pet got hit hard - I only used 2 - rampage when you must.
With 5 beast, dual wield plus 5 pets and summoner with Ifrit, each swing of a hit is like 5x2 +5 +2 = 17 hits per swing at roughly 110 hits average (beast hit 80-90 plus 20-40 enfire) = that's a minimum of 1500 damage per one hit swing from everyone. We went with 2 rarab tails, we did not use any, and the summoner did not even two hours at all with Alexander.
FYI - most of the beast are perle geared - not all have damage reduction axes. So yeah it is possible to get easy win with once again, xyz VIP jobs on this bcnm![]()

				About 99 being a factor...
If you did stuff before the levels started going over 75, you could easily see how only a few levels could affect a fight with a NM.
Just look at this fight against the Lord of Onzozo, which used to be a challenge to even a Ninja at level 75!
The video may be unavailable due to me making it private (I will make it public for a time just for this post), and, it is/was just a test of stuff on... the test... server... anyways.
Point being: Even a few levels may do a lot.
- Link removed as the video is no longer available. Wasn't really a good example anyways. D:

...or so the legend says.
this is all i can say about the final boss fight....
http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/threads/18873-OH-MY!!!
it does suck that people cant solo and a good amount of casual players 1-2 weeks later cant barely find party to get it done already .... it still wasnt hard if u had party and xp to get her done
When some street trash from the hood in Agrabah walks into a room with other people attempting to engage in intelligent discussion and starts rappin' "hey yo dawg is me aldin y u gta cbmplains abt erry1s gramaz dawg is nt cuul man i thgt u was tite wid dat gene an sh*t man u ain col at al grw up", the patrons are obliged to remove the hairy urchin and his putrid smelling monkey from the premises in order to continue said intelligent discussion.
Essentially? Communicating like an educated and intelligent human being is not limited to the workplace. If you can't communicate with others in proper English, then others have absolutely no obligation to listen to you or take you seriously. If you want to communicate with a bunch of 12 year olds who are still trying to get their balls to drop and can't form a single coherent sentence without the words "noob" and "fa-expletive", I would humbly recommend joining the Bungie forums.
I will have my revenge!

Only you have to put the effort in to type it. Everybody else has to put the effort in to read. Why is it on every game theres some one who cpmplains bout grammer really? freakin lame brain only do that on forums and games grow up.
Or just skip over the response altogether. Yes. That would be the appropriate thing to do.

I have a feeling they revert back to such horrific spelling and grammar when they can't just tab and auto-complete basic phrases to get their points across.
