    NPC Name: None
    Monster Name: None
    Steps:
    1. Zone into the area.
    2. Receive error FFXI-2003 and the game kicks me out.
    3. Used a different hard drive that has the game on it and update to the latest version.
    4. Problem still happens exactly the same.

This is the same hardware, but the hard drives were different installs. The issue happens consistently. I use a mule, and it works fine. I used a different computer to move myself back to my home nation, and it worked fine. Valkurm Dunes, North San d'Oria, Port San d'Oria, Mog House all work fine. Tried adjusting resolution, and the issue still happens.

Gigabyte GA-H67A-UD3H-B3 motherboard with the latest firmware. Intel i7 quad core processor. GeForce GTX 500 series video card. I believe this might be related to some video rendering problem. I tried this with a Plextor solid state hard drive (SATA3 6Gb/s) and a standard hard drive. The issue began immediately after the updates, and I have had no issues before then.

I used a process viewer to monitor which files were being accessed, and I was missing folders under ROM2 so I checked another computer that was working and found that I was missing about 4 folders! I copied these folders from that machine to this one, and it began working. The only thing in common with the machine after swapping hard drives (full operating system on each) is that they were both running Avast anti-virus. This may have been the cause or it could have been some strange Windows 7 file permissions. Anyway, it is partially working now... except I might need to do another full install and update without the anti-virus running to make sure I really get all of the updates.
