This sounds like one of the worst LB's ever. What happens when everyone else gets level 99 and those who are just starting out haven't even done LB1? Once they reach this hurdle they'll have a helluva hard time finding anyone to help them out because everyone will be too busy watching PJ chat for farming groups and see this is yet another trivial chore that they don't have any interest in doing because it doesn't give them anything personally.

Um no, I've personally taken the time to help others with LB1 and 2 in the past so how is this last Limit break any different. if anything it'll be easier to accomplish because there are people at 99 who can help. Level 99's aren't going to say no to their lv 95 comrades when they know by helping said comrades they'll be able to have a better chance at winning fights lol. So really the concern you have is pretty silly.

No, this concern is pretty dead on. There are FAR more people that don't help than do. You and I might be helpful, but we're the vast minority. Heck I already had someone give me the cold shoulder on this. Once this is no longer new and fresh it's going to be hell for that lone new 95 to get someone to come out to help him farm and fight.

I realize this is an MMO, but if anything should be solo content it should be limit breaks. Precedent and nostalgia be damned, but people in general simply don't help unless there's something in it for them. And helping some new player get to cap isn't something most players see as a direct benefit to themselves. You have a good point in that helping that player does ultimately help the group and I wholeheartedly agree, but many people don't see that.

Suppose it's just as well not everyone thinks the same way as you. Have you never helped anyone with anything just because you did'nt get something in return? How about those times when you have some time to spare between events etc?

Many times I've helped random strangers with LB quests and never asked for a reward. Also, unless you literally have no friends or a linkshell they'll always be someone to help you.
