Do people really have nothing else better to do for 1 month, these people won't do anything until we mess with their money, they won't be proactice or even follow their own concepts they hand us. What happened to lower the physical power of war slightly and then raising every other dd to this standard? What happened to a total reevaluation of ws's? Where is some of the older ideas they have brought up like PD increasing SA damage or increasing dark magic capabilities so that the absorb line of spells weren't useless. Hell the absorb spells can't stack with cruor buffs unlike every other stat buff spell and ability, and that should be a simple fix. Instead of being synical about someones choice to better their lives while at the same time want the game to be in a much better place when they return how about you actually do something to help get things where they need to be.
If you think one person won't make a difference, then for once just try it, you'd be surprised of the result.

I didn't realize how tired of this game I was until I got Dark Souls.
I think we just need to ask Square-Enix one thing as far as giving out feedback goes:
What ever happened with that phrase that is held dear in Japan: "the customer is always right?" Why do you not apply this to suggestions we give out based on test server findings?
In this instance, the playerbase knows probably everything about the game, even to the extent of the game's programming. Why is it that SE tries to keep every job in a homogenized state and not branch out a little bit more?
Why can't DRK get Dark Magic Fast Cast and Damaging Dark Magic that casts about as fast as Stun?
Why shouldn't RDM get thrown a bone on powerful light-Melee gear that MNK/THF/NIN/BLU/DNC and the like has the most access to every once in a while? I mean, would it kill your game to put RDM on something like Loki's Kaftan? Oh, and what's wrong with making their enfeebles not resist on high-tier NMs, huh? And what is the point of making RDM specialists at single-target and self-target enhancing magic? It would be a great deal if some of their enhancing magic, such as the Gain line of spells, had the ability to be casted on other people without having the WHM do it for them. It's detrimental alone not to be able to. Square-Enix knows we are right with this, but why have they not followed up with this criticism as solutions to the job's problems?
Why can't COR get a phantom roll with HASTE on it (Blitzer's is detrimental to 2-Hander TP Gain)? Where is that third roll they said was going to be in-game?
What chance is there for a PLD to hold hate anymore without having to rely on an Almace or Ochain for the casual player? Hardcore players have their own solution with that sword and shield combo. But what about the player who leveled Paladin as a side-job?
Is it really so much to change Camlann's Torment from VIT to either STR or DEX? DRG cant take advantage of such an out-of-place modifier as far as I know (Torcleaver is the only exception since DRK and PLD can turn it into a solid Weapon Skill with the right builds and attack boosts), DRG has been aching for a decent weapon skill for a while now, outside of having to hunt for a Ryunohige. The fact that Stardiver got a nerf at all is insult to injury. Why couldnt you just improve DRG as a Polearm specialist and not just leaving it as a cerulean sausage on a skewer being nibbled on by a flying lizard? (Dragonlord, don't slap me! lol)
What they've done with the level 99 Weapon Skills is a crime, and they know this. But the biggest crime of all was not doing anything about extra VoidWatch treasure that people cannot give away for reasons that they don't want it or they already have it. Square-Enix knows this takes only one simple fix, but they take a completely different roundabout way of doing it instead of enlightening us on why SE INSISTS on doing the things they do?
Square-Enix, we're not going to hoard loot this way! What a crock of shit to say that all this gear is going to go to one person only within a specific group of players! It goes to show how far disconnected we are between the Devs and the playerbase. What could go wrong if you had put in the solution we gave to you? Don't say people will get bored and quit, there is a LOT more to do in this game than that.
A lot of these questions and issues could still use some motherfuckin' answers.

The point is that SE has come out and promised us certain things, for instance upgrades to ws's, and they have yet to implement any of it. On top of which they hand us these new ws's which in most cases aren't worth the merits you have to spend on them, seriously these new ws's should be much stronger than our previous ws's excluding the relic/empyrean ws's. Also what happened to the overall balance that they promised, for instance they claimed war was to powerful so they intended to slightly decrease its power and bring every other dd up to that level, where the hell is that. When they do finally give us something its unbelievably limited in its use like Scarlet Diarhea. Not to mention our trial upgrades are beyond unreasonable and VW is just a ridiculous trolling joke, and you wonder why we should take action against SE? Also this is only a very small amount of problems with the game that SE has forced on us.
I can pretty much assume how it looks on their end though.
They set up this road map saying "Date X, this should be implemented", and then they are roughly done and set it up on test server and people complain. So they evaluate "Can I solve this in one day? Is it not working?" and unless the answer is yes, they'll ignore it for lack of time.
It is typical for businesses. You fix what you have time for, and everything else is left as it is as long as it doesn't create extreme unbalance.
Personally I'd rather they screwed the road map and just worked on requested features. I don't particularly care for getting a useless Cait Sith faster, instead of getting my new Fenrir ward functional.
