    Ever since blood weapon zergs became meaningless my drk has just been drk/rdm for stun(can load a fair amount of fast cast gear and haste) but now that a lot of stuff is resistant to stun... the job seems to become a sub job in most of my groupes, if the job can't do real damage, why does it wear heavy armor and have some of the highest damage weapons available... its because if a warrior/nin has roughly the same gear as drk, a fair bit of the ive seen rampage out doing guillotine. In all truth I think the best damaging ws for dark still might be SA spinning slash... The only think I've found outside of that was a 300tp spiral hell or ground strike... but thats 300tp

    Get haste + double march ride last resort and spam Torcleaver and you will do ridiculous damage. And once Resolution becomes available you won't even need Torcleaver.

    The problem isn't that DRK sucks the problem is that nobody cares and it gets shoved into the leftovers party because "ZOMG move that DRK we need all our Ukon WARs and Vera MNKs in the BRD party"

    Ok lets talk serious.

    If you guys want make a Competitive Weapon Skill on Scythe and return the balance for Drk job.

    Change the INT mod for STR mod

    This will give us the oportunity of build Weapon skill set with +100 STR . Remember the STR adds attack, for Two hands jobs If my STR build have + 100 that is equal 75 attack, 75 attack will affect all the Four hits and will help me improve my damage on "All mobs, high lv enemies and weak enemies.

    Explaining all in order and asumming the devs will take this as constructive critish.

    Mods 100% STR with 5/5 merits
    Tp multipliquer 1.3 As minimiun.
    No attack penalty. Taking as base Apocalipse lv 95

    With a Nice STR build and using the base damage Apocalipse

    Entropy will average 2399 - 3599.
    Resolution, if you guys removed the attack penatly will average 2454 - 3680.

    As you guys can see Fixing entropy in this way. Will make the WS competitive with resolution.

    As important notes. When we use DRK we "Focus 100% in do damage". We dont care about dark magic spells, or if our WS can add negative effects, all we want is a Strong WS for compete vs Warriors, Samurais, Dragoons.

    If you guys want "remove the effect cure our MP with entropy". But please make this WS competitive a lot of Relics drk and empyreal drks, need with desesperation a good Scythe WS. Take in consideration our suggestion, if the devs not are sure in something, you guys can ask the comunity of drk for a votation for fix entropy.

    I know Camate have over 10 jobs lv 95. Ask Camate if im lying with this and ask him a opinion of how use DRK, he share lots of time with FFXI comunity, he probably will know very well the way we think

    I have no more words trying to help DRK go in the direction it needs to go to as far as weapon skills for Scythe go. I am beyond annoyed at this point. I have gone full-out rage.

    Here are my last words about adjusting Entropy.

    You're forgetting a few factors though!

    DRK has a hidden JT that inhibits our WS damage! lol~

    Now for seriousness. Multihit WSs suffer immensely from high-def mobs in any situation; this shouldn't need to be explained.
    Next, I simply wish for at least 1fTP at 100%tp(if this were the lvl75 game), but since we're preparing for the lvl99 game, 1.25 minimum is necessary to help make scythes become competitive again(which they haven't been, outside apocalypse, since the cap increase).

    I have thought ever since it was found out that only a few WS crit that every ws should crit and the ones that already crit have a higher chance to crit/have crit attack bonus added to them. Just sayin

    This pretty much... Problem with DRK WS's is they are MND and INT mod mixed in with STR but that is for our good ones. We really don't need a crit ws we need ws's with the proper mod and that means NO mnd or int just pure str or str and dex.

    Agreed. I don't really care for a crit WS, but I just think that all melee hits should crit, WS or not heh.
