    [dev1052] DRK Group 1/Group 2 Merit Point refinements

    For group 1 i'm pretty happy at least these have some use

    If i could add anything it would be Souleater's effect +1% a merit (2handed weapons only).

    For Group 2 there is alot of improvement that can be made here.

    Muted soul is now near useless
    Increasing the enmity - to -75 or -80 would make it useful agian or just make it so it stacks w/ gear (additivly)

    Dark seal

    While the idea is nice it doesn't add that much
    Making it so that Absorbs would last longer(5-10mins) and not decay would push this back up imo
    Adding a potency boost to it would be nice but i guess it would be stepping on N.Voids shoes then,

    Diabolic eye
    -15%hp for +20 acc is a joke
    Either remove the -15% hp
    Or add a +DMG% boost to make this worth it.

    Desperate blows

    Is awesome but if ya want you could make it let DRK hit 85-90% haste (i know OP but i miss the 93% haste days lol)

    Muted Soul needs to be totally redone or made into something different 100% worthless.

    Diabolic eye needs to be +% magical and physical damage dealt, with no -% hp.

    Dark Seal should boost the potency of the next Dark Magic spell because it is nearly worthless.

    Most T2 merits are useless, so it wasn't surprising that DRK's were/are useless.

    Honestly though asking for Haste over cap is like asking for WAR to deal 4809589458i72095834270 damage in one hit and asking for 100 TP ws return.

    Every 2% over 80% is increasing DPS by like 50% iirc. Don't be stupid.

    2h Weapon Haste should be a drk thing, SE is already going in that direction with LR + desperate blows, and apoc aftermath...I wouldn't doubt if they built on that theme some more.

    87% Haste is a 50% Increase over 80%.

    The old DRK cap took Apoc delay to 34.2 lol. Those were the good old days.

    Your idea of us sacrificing things to gain things is terribly executed as the gains are never worth the loss.


    Diabolic Eye:

    "The Dark Knight's killing intent allows them to percieve their enemies weaknesses, and the most effective and brutal ways to exploit them. Putting strain on the Dark Knight's mind lowering their total effective amount of MP."


    Duration - 2minutes
    Recast Fully Merited - 5 minutes

    -15% Max MP for all Tiers.

    Diabolic Eye I: -15% Max MP and + 2% physical and magical accuracy and damage.
    Diabolic Eye II: -15% Max MP and +4% physical and magical accuracy and damage.
    Diabolic Eye III: -15% Max MP and +6% physical and magical accuracy and damage.
    Diabolic Eye IV: -15% Max MP and +8% physical and magical accuracy and damage.
    Diabolic Eye V: -15% Max MP and +10%physical and magical accuracy and damag

    NOT an attack boost.

    NO +% damage taken as DRK already has a hard enough time surviving already, the aims of this job ability are:

    Provide a timed and strategic increase in damage that adds to either DPS output or if we choose surviving in battle.





    **Muted soul is hands down the most worthless JT in the game, even beating out Tactical Parry, remove it completely and boost our survivability the proper way.

    Muted Soul -> Avarice

    Passive Job Trait, always active.

    1 Merit = +3% Drain/Aspir Potency
    2 Merits = +6% Drain/Aspir Potency
    3 Merits = +9% Drain/Aspir Potency
    4 Merits = +12% Drain/Aspir Potency
    5 Meits = +15% Drain/Aspir Potency

    You seem keen on giving us a passive trait so give us a useful one.





    New Ability/Meritable Ability:


    Malevolence:

    JA, Similar to Sublimation converts Hit points over time to Technique Points.

    Converts 8hp/tick into 2 TP.

    You want us to sacrifice something, there you go!
