All GP items are worth getting. There's no point in pointless GP items. No, you will not see a stack effect if you put in more than one 50k item. It's only the way it is so it can be sold on the AH but one of them still nets +1 skill. When you have everything in MH from GP you end up with either 110 or perhaps more skill with advanced support. My crafting has never been low enough when obtaining GP gear to check how high it goes but we do know that we can achieve tier 1 HQs now with items at level 99 so, it's logical to conclude that we get 110 skill or higher. 100 + 3 support + 3 in standard MH gear + 1 with 50k item and the stall and sign items give extra skills to attain 110+. Not to mention the crafting torques that have been unleashed and hopefully we see more to cover the rest of the crafts, and finally odd ball items like hocho that give cooking +3.
Now, what might be up for debate or not is just how much skill the stall and sign are giving us and it may very well be reaching 110 without advanced support. I never got into that much but people over at BG did. All I care is that I max my skill with everything in MH + support and everything else be damned imo. I can't really HQ skill 100 synths like they're tier 1 so it probably doesn't go much further beyond 110ish.
Lastly having everything in your MH nets you mega mogflictionhoweveritsspelled that gets you less materials lost when crafting or so people say, which may very well be placebo effect. Personally I stick to the description of it, which is your crafting skill is increased immensely. If it nets me less materials lost, cool deal. Didn't bother eff'n working the other day when I lost a dark ixion tail, though.

Has anyone found any *confirmed* research that all of the GP items combine with Advanced Support for a total +10?

It all depends on which Moghancement you want. Each furnishing gives their own. Look into Moghancements for the great scheme behind it all, but in order to get the skill from having them in your house, you have to have the specific Moghancement they carry. Every furnishing has their own Moghancement, and the determining Moghnancement that sticks depends both on the element most potent across all furnishings, and the furnishing with the most potency in that element.
The 50k GP item will only carry a simple Moghancement that will only really boost success rate or lessen materials lost. Combining the 150k and 200k items will give you a "Moglification" in that craft instead of a Moghancement. That is a +1 to your skill. The Stall will give you the "Mega Moglification" which starts out at +2. When you place either the 150k or 200k item in combination with that, it will become a Mega Moglification +3 towards your craft. And then when the 200k, 150k, and Stall are all combined together, you get a Mega Moglification with +5 towards your craft. The 50k furnishing has no enhancement towards the Mega Moglification's skill.
Though there is an added effect when you have all three furnishings put together, whether it be a higher success rate or a lessen in items lost. I'm not sure because I'm a fisherman and the additional effect there is less time between casting your line and feeling a bite. Some rumors say that the 50k item enhances the hidden effect a little bit, but there hasn't been any proof. Of course it's harder to prove something like that than it is to test a flat out increase in skill.
EDIT: I think Advanced Support is +3, so that would make it +8 towards your craft. Add in the Smock, other GP equip, and the new items from gold chests, and you can get quite a boost!

Through the confinement of Valefor I found myself in the depths of Hades. It was there that I was thrown into Cerberus' Den. Only through Carbuncle's light could I find my way.
Well, MOST GP items are worth getting... Boltmaker is not one of them. You are better off using a Carpenter's Ring, at least it's usefull for any non-HQ crafting. Cheaper in the long run too. For a bulk synth relying on HQing for efficiency, using Boltmaker is moronic, yet that is exactly what it was made for...![]()
