Bastion Mages and AoE

Bastion Mage NPCs will no longer cast area-effect elemental magic spells.

Psst. Pro-tip: You shoulda done this a year ago when people still cared. Good grief.

I guess my PLD will give it a try. It was the best exp I had ever seen at the time when NPC BLMS didn't ruin everything, and I still suspect it to be the best exp but I never really got the chance to make a good judgment call on it. The NPCs would ruin everything. I just remember going from 80 to 85 PLD incredibly fast when things went according to plan but it took several hours longer than it should have.

Indeed I was thinking that it's about time and whatever might have taken so long to get to it boggles my mind...

Priorities are priorities but in my mind it's usually best to fix things as soon as possible, not years after but eh, I guess it's one of those better late than never things... not that it matters as much later, but oh well.
I think they would have been better off just moving the NPCs away from the Martello, as they will still draw more or less attention with single-target spells fersure.


Also interesting how they say to use [devXXXX] tag but they have in their own threads devXXXX without the "[]" (that is in the actual tag-list, not speaking of the title, which does use them... blubb).

Oh well, guess they'll just search for both.
