What monthly updates? SE never promised us monthly updates - if you are referring to the October 2011 - March 2012 roadmap, that specifically says it's for the test server.

Yes they promised monthly updates. They specifically said they were no longer doing big patches every few months but will do smaller content patches monthly.

Guess not, because this is the first i have heard of monthly updates. And even when they do an update is it really an update? Honestly font changes really shouldn't be called an update.....
