Yes, for Warrior. Samurai, and Dark Knight. Excellent Ideas.

These are new 2 hour abilities suggestions?
I dont see the mention of merits for them though.

Also i think they are a little vague in explanation (duration/type of spell & song added/effects potency?)
I appreciate the time you took to come up with these I want to pick more at your brain about them is all.
thanks and keep posting good stuff!

Thanks for the feedback, I'll post up some thoughts about merits/costs and how they effect the 2hr abilities soon, also better explanations for some of them.

I kinda got this impression, at least from the White Mage one. Short of White Mage having some crazy powerful Magic Attack Bonus, I don't think that even having spells that are amazing will help.

On Black Mage, I don't think that it would be enough, and getting new spells isn't really a good idea. What would be a better idea is combining the magic critical with nuking for no enmity, and having cumulative magic effects get boosted more.

But seriously, for White Mage, there are only really two options, healing more, and killing more. And the second option is a bit hard to deal with. The first option... what are you going to do?

Make a spell that instantly heals party members and wipes all status effects? Oh wait.

I think it would be nice to see a fix for Benediction - raise all party members with no exp loss, heal them massively, wipe all status effects, even Zombie, Doom (100% of the time!), Weakened, Amnesia, Charm, Gradual Petrification, Terror, and Bust. I don't think this will ever happen however.

If someone wanted to give White Mages an offensive option as a two hour, I think it would roughly boil down to being a bit of a toy, but I have been in situations where despite everyone's efforts, they wipe with the mob nearly dead, but the White Mage is still alive. If the White Mage could be given a buff where they could finish off the monster more reliably then using a clutch charged Holy laser shot, that could, in theory, provide for entertaining gameplay. I think it could be something like "Holy Fury" - "Gain the cumulative stats and TP of all dead or weakened party members within area of effect." Still, no matter how powerful this could be, and no matter how much I like hitting things with hammers, I think being able to cure people from the dead to fighting strength instantly would always be the better choice.

Basically, a fixed Benediction will be a better choice in most cases for a White Mage over any other possible two hour they could give the job.

How cool would it be if they could give BLM another Manafont thats has that magic crit but! warps him to max casting range directly away from the foe when said foe gets near it?
hate reset every time it finishes casting and warps? yes no maybe?

idk if they can make that work it just popped in my head

    Doom on melee, no thanks.

Just let us merit Drain/Aspir potency.

    Doom = Crap.

    WAR
(retalation) - overpowered, in my opinion. 100% is far too high. Chloris would be dead in 3 seconds flat after she uses Hundred Fists. (not that it doesn't already happen).
(DA rate) - that's a nice touch. Would pair with Mighty strikes nicely.

    MNK -
(counter) not as overpowered as WAR. MNK doesn't get TP from counter so I say maybe.. Would prefer a 2hr that increases guard rate substancially (not 100% of course, even 50% would be ok).
(subtle blow) mehh I don't dig it. So for 8 secs your counters don't feed TP? followed by a Subtle Blow boost? meh !

WHM - love it. good stuff.

BLM - yes & yes to the first two. As for the AM3's - They should be new merits to begin with - but please don't add them as VW procs. We want to be able to choose a couple of powerful nukes, not have to unlock 6 weak ones... As for Ultima - yes have wanted that for years.

RDM - Infinite stoneskin with perma refresh? Can hold anything for the 5 mins it's up. Not sure about that one. As for additional spells - I think your list is as comprehensive as SE's ideas on RDM spells right now. Have seen videos of Bio, Dia and Poison V (which look damn cool by the way). Pitty they never actually added them.

    THF - yep

    PLD - yep

    DRK -
(doom) - as said, Doom seems all well and good but it's pretty dirt for players to use. On any mob that it can actually proc on - they are dead before the 10 seconds is up anyway.
(dt > tp) I like this one. Don't know enough about DRK to have any major opinion about it.

BRD - don't know enough about the job to offer feedback.

    RNG -
(rapid shot?) guessing by this you mean 100% proc on rapid shot? If so then I dig it.
(sweet spot) yep. The distance bonus (since we are rangers after all) is always a nice bonus. Anything that ehnaces this is good.

    SAM - yep

    NIN -
(nin. tool expert.) Borrrrring. Couldn't care less about saving gil. As for it lasting 1 min - sure you could throw out all your enfeebs, recast utsu a few times, do the ele wheel maybe twice? That will save what, 10 tools total - even if you spam spells? Hmm I personally wouldn't bother with it.
(extra spells) Utsu: San not really needed (we have 2 spells on 25 sec recast timers for that). The others sound cool.

    DRG -
(breath) - so your saying you can honestly spam healing breath for a whole minute? DRG healer anyone?
(cover) - I would rather the opposite, damage dealt to the Wyvern is dealt to the master. Sick of wyvern getting 1-shot in voidwatch when going in for a breath attack.

    DNC -
    (flourishes) - yes.
(dances) A few seem kinda cool. I like the step.

All in all, pretty solid suggestions. Posted my opinions on them obviously.
