    Either you have a group of elites you play with and assist you in building weapons or you have had a lot of time on your hands over the years, I think most of the gripes, including mine, come from the fact that to get anything done on a timely basis we need to solo the stuff. And thats calling, at my rate, 6 months a timely basis. Either that or you are saying full time students should not aspire to anything >_>

    I know the level mapping of dynamis zones has not really changed. That being said, they should not still expect alliances of 18 to go into Tav to get a -1 item safely (or if you have say friends with aegis and or ochain and maybe something else spiffy to tank them so you can do it with 5, pld rdm blm thf something). They should really have thought about that. Although next to no one or people who already have relic weapons will do that since they are all trying to sell bronze pieces for 11k and keep them in their bazaar for months....

    My major gripe with the cities (going back to an earlier reply) is that roughly 1/3 of the under used zones tend to be higher than the EP lvs (all dc mobs now) and it feels unless I can manage getting a group of 4 or so to farm with me for relic currency that it would be a better idea to slep it in a dream land. The last time I was in san d'oria though they're were still parties of 4 or so people farming the EP mobs in the only two safe camps for EP mobs...

    Also, how many people do you guys go with to get currency over 300? My best has only been 250 with two people in dream lands... Averaging 150 solo, although could be noticeably higher if it was not for competing for claim against one to three other people in every monster camp I goto.

    the mobs droping -1 peices in Tavnazia are "only" level ~95, so a /DNC soloer is able to kill them NP, juste not able to farm coins efficiently. Although the Cluster mobs have low HP, and I've seen BST farm them. There is also a few (20 ish) EP nightmare mobs in tavnazia that drop -1s You don't need no PLD to kill anything in dynamis lol, even the lv 100 VT demons in tavanzia are not harder that your average merit PT mobs back at the lv 75 cap, well except then can use 2H abilities.

    The em & tough mobs have a noticably higher proc rate and drop rate and it has been quantified.     1)This would increase the number of camps people use. At the moment it seems common place for groups of five or more 95 players taking an entire camp for the EP mobs.
    Maybe it was intended so that the supply of coins is limited on the server ? The bazaars are already filled with coins as is and coins lost 10% value over the last 2 weeks.

    2)This would make it so large groups and well geared groups would target these monsters for better drops to compensate for the time lost in killing them verus the lower level monsters.
    Well geared groups should farm the tough camps or they are not well geared, but rather gimp, or stubborn.

    What were the devs thinking when they made high level monsters (Ts to 90) in these zones? Did they really think people would camp them?
    I like the idea that only good payers can farm some them.

    On top of the level correction, how about in cities make it so most pulls do not link more than two monsters, I have encountered pulls that ended up linking upwards of five monsters.
    What's next ? Don't allow monster agro ?


    Lowering the links and making the levels the same would lower dream land congestion during certain hours, this morning in each of the dream lands they're were more than 30 people...
    Nope. Fixing cities is good idea though, they should pack mobs with proc type but they won't do it, it would be too easy and invert the congestion.

    The solution of "find a time no one is there" would only work if I was not the only one encountering these issues.
    There are alternatives you just have to either improve your skills to beat even matches mobs or sacrifice coins amount for the ability to run whenever you want. With the level cap increase more and more people are going to go farm them anyway, which means more competition at all camps. Anyone tried breakga > diaga > sleppga 1/2 > horde lullaby 1/2 spam as a group ? Requires at least BLM, BRD and THF and probably a WHM. I can see it to be safe for the mages if the thf opens with an aoe WS. It's probably not doable for triboxers though lol.

    You cannot expect much more solo because it's solo. A single good solo bst will clear most of any camp too so competition will ruin your day too. 100+ coins is easy solo in cities and you can go when you want. If you want more coins whenver you want, go in dynamis-cities more often, aka level bst on a mule ? You will never get high # of coins solo anymore because

    1) The playerbase knows the "tricks" now so competition will increase even more.
    2) Level cap increase means easier soon.

    Eventually the prices will be at an equilibrium where the most gimp players will be ok with wasting 2 hours for crap money averaging maybe 100k or 200k. With the huge supply I see in bazars it's safe to say that if they don't buff relics once more coins will soon lose half of their value.

    Bump for post 99... It seems that even at 99 people are camping the EP monsters 95% of the time, even in groups of 5+. I am still standing on the need to normalize the monster levels to make more viable camps...

    can someone explain to me how your getting so many coins, i have done this with a friend in the cities with a mule, takes us a while to get the 5 time mobs as often 2 will require 1 of us to wipe to lead mobs away, then we go kill the ep mobs. Proc rate is horrible and we end up trying to keep mobs alive while we span ja's or weakest ws or cast dia like 100 times. We are lucky to pull in 50 coins a run

    Any advise would be great as i really want my relic dagger

    Farm the dreamland zones instead. Keep what you need, sell the stuff you don't to buy teh stuff you need.
