So I bought the game a long time ago, played it briefly and then stopped. And then a friend of mine was playing it recently, so I pulled it out, and started again, and I am enjoying myself with it now

On another note, I'm playing with a fairly old disc version, and I've realised a lot has come out since then. I'm looking into updating my version, but I'm wondering if I'll lose my character in the process, as it seems the easiest/best/cheapest way would be to buy the ultimate abyssea edition (or whatever it's called :P ).

So does anyone know the best way to update my game with the expansions and stuff without losing my character?

(I think I have two expansions at the minute, just so everyone knows)
