Proposal:
Introducing an NPC inside every abyssean zone that will issue a player “Retainment Status.”
“Retainment Status”
This will become available once speaking to a perspective NPC in any qualifying zone. “Retainment Status” saves the players Light Intensity count and keeps them stored for 30 minutes (Earth Time). This allows players to leave the zone and change jobs, retrieve forgotten equipment, or anything pertaining to the previous said. Though there will be concern that players may abuse this status, I propose some ground rules upon obtaining the status:
• “Retainment Status” stores a players Light Intensity only, time will not be included.
• Status will wear upon Log Off/Shut Down. (This excludes disconnection)
• If player disconnects with status on, 30 min timer will continue to count down.
• Player can only obtain “Retainment Status” once every 1 hour (Earth Time).
• “Retainment Status” will be zone specific. (ex. players requesting the status at Abyssea – La Theine cannot travel to Abyssea – Tahrongi and preserve their Light Intensity)
The goal of this is to be fair to players that participate in events such as Abyssea Experience Parties and Seal Hunting Parties. This way players will not be penalized by losing their lights for something such as returning to their Mog House to spend merits and returning back.
