I prepared a back story, ahem...

Once upon a time, a little red-headed Mithra named Rewyen joined the ranks of the Elvaan of San d'Oria. Her goal was simple; uncover the truth about her mothers role in the war that left her displaced. As it turns out, Rewyen was one of two daughters born to Nanaa Mihgo. After an exhausting run training to become one of the worlds most sought after Dark Knights and saving the world once more from the Kindred, Rewyen set sail to discover the truth of her lineage. The daughter of a Hume and a Mithra was something not entirely common. Once Rewyen realized who her mother was, she set off on a quest to free her soul from her wicked ways. Unfortunately, Nanaa was a terrible mother and shot Rewyen in the face with like, ten bloody bolts. It was gross.

Anyway, years later, a San d'Orian friar uncovered remains in Giddeus and found a peculiar amulet in which a symbol was engraved. The amulet was beautiful despite its obvious darkness. Upon returning to San d'Oria, he sold the amulet for beer money. In a weird, Back to the Future sort of way, the person who purchased it was an Elvaan Warrior who took it with him for luck as he entered one of the Cavernous Maws. He never returned to his own time because he fell in love with a hot elf chick and knocked her up. When his daughter was born, he gave her that amulet as a gift.

On her eighteenth birthday, the amulet exploded in light and the darkness within was released into the Elvaan woman. The amulet now serves as the light to keep the darkness at bay, but the darkness in her soul was the returning spirit of Rewyen, the most sarcastic bitch of a cat to grace Vana'Diel... Now, Meigaberice walks the path of darkness and is pretty sure her father, who hasn't even gone back to the past yet in her present, is valiantly trying to "hit that."

So yeah... Rewyen died. It was sad, but she came back in the body of a hot elf chick. Deal with it.
