Did this really warrant a whole new thread?
I don't think I've ever lost anything more valuable than Echo Drops through being paralyzed, although I think everyone has heard the horror stories about people hitting lvl37 and using a scroll of Utsusemi:Ni without thinking. Nice little update. I don't mind this being a separate thread because I haven't read the thread it was originally posted in yet.

People actually lost Utsusemi: Ni through Paralyze? That actually warrants a laugh as much as a cry.
In the cases I've heard of, it's been people excited to finally be able to learn the spell (pre-Abyssea, pre-FoV/GoV, pre-E.ron_S parties) and simply not paying attention. Deserved is a bit harsh but yeah, pay attention or LOL@U pretty much sums it up.

I've lost a stack of shihei while paralyzed at least once. Halfway through a mob, realize i "lack the ninja tools" and try to save my ass......but paralyze decides to make a fool out of me. I usually check before a farm/xp session, but sometimes you lose track of time.
The Doctor Said I Wouldn't Have So Many Nosebleeds If I Kept My Finger Outta There
I lose tons of echo drops.
I almost lost a brew because as I was popping brew I got hit with a paralyze. But, I quickly moved so that the brew was disrupted from being used and I didn't lose it. I got a paralyna and then proceeded to pop brew again. Point is, I liked the risk asscoiated with paralyze, keep you on your toes.
