Character Reactivation Service

Yeah, reactivating the slot that just says character will open up the character slot that has nothing in it. In fact I don't even need to reactivate it, because the character deletion happened this month and the slot is still open. It's basically just a slot that is empty in which you can create a new character. x.x;

I know that for instance if I see the mule Rikimo@Shiva and click reactivate, the mule Rikimo will be reactivated and available to play.

We want to get back the character Salas, who has been deleted. Having the slot that says just "character" active doesn't do anything, as it is just an empty slot to create a character, where the character Salas used to be active in that slot.

Edit - just saw your edit, and yeah that's what I was wondering. We have had our characters transferred to the SE acct system for a really long time. Would suck if it does make it so you can not get your person back.

I deduced the character slot thing after posting; but I can tell you for sure they don't delete characters after 90 days of inactivity anymore, even though their documentation still says this. I have a mule that's been inactive for years now and it was never deleted.

At any rate, if reactivating the "character" slot doesn't get your character back, then I guess I was wrong. You can try contacting support though I don't know if it will get you anywhere.

Yeah I've had my character inactive at times too and it's not been deleted or anything.

This whole situation was basically just some stupid thing, where we had a bad few days in the game. Some jerks were giving us a hard time, on a few different occasions. Then we had a bad night, where we died to some silly NM and my boyfriend I guess had kind of had enough. A lot of bad had happened over the week and he overreacted and deleted his character to be done with all of it.

Obviously it was a bad decision that he's regretting, and he is just hoping to get the character back. We spent a lot of time together (2 years+) on our characters and after hearing about the CRS we got our hopes up that it would be simple to get a deleted char back.

So yeah we tried contacting support and everything, but so far it's just really looking like we won't be able to get the character back while that CRS is down, or just won't be able to get it back period.

Thanks everyone for your help so far anyway. ^^ Hopefully we will find out sometime for sure if that reactivation service will ever be back up, or if we are just out of luck.

In the time it takes you to get an answer, honestly, you could have a level 99 job and be mostly caught up except in storyline progress.

My char, 7 days 23 hrs playtime. (with /playtime)

In that time I hit 55 just now, doing LB1, I have Sky, I am on Cop 3, and I am rank 6 XD I have full norg fame and Jeuno fame for gobby bag /utsusemi, and levelling is easy with FoV

So I agree with this! (tho my friend is letting me use his to PL me so i guess im cheatin a lil lol as I can burn through story/bcnms)

Tho I'd prolly be 99 now if i ignored missions and quests and fame etc. (all the beads... 2 days that took!)

i have kept my content ids intact so if they bring this service back ill be able to recover.

You can't erase content IDs, they're always "intact." When you convert to the SE account, all your content IDs that you've ever had will show up. If you didn't delete your character, you don't need the service.
