The playerbase needs a common foe to unite against, for it's clear that they are utter douchenozzles by nature if left to their own devices.

Krabnucle is to blame for the limited number of new spells and abilities thus far at 99, and Krabnucle hasn't bathed recently enough!

He is an evil to be sought out and destroyed! Or...at least rinsed a bit.

Playerbase got much more greedier when abyssea happened than during the hnms days.

(psst: it's because they were suddenly able to be greedy and get away with it)

Everyone knows the only real nice guys are the ones who are still nice after they have power.
