Weird bug

Ok love to get some responses see what people think, i logged in todayyon my mule Kimishy all i did on her the day before was urun to xarc raise my char dc her by hittin X on the window, i log on this morning and when i hit the play button i see message sayig updating content ID...done i was like weird ok w/e maybe it charged me i thaught
but when i went to click select character theres nothing there kimishy has been deleted i figure o shi il contact se musta been hacked well i speak to chat service they tell me speak with gm in game so i speak to him he says he cant find my chaaracter we go through some details and stuff and i call SE on there helpline after chattin for abit with them turns out kimishy has no record ever being played or made on square enix's database the same problem happened to my friend 3days ago he lost 2 characters has anyone ever had a problem like this before? would be nice to get a dev response maybe
oh and to solve the issue all se said that can be done is they will escalate to the higher ups or something hope i get this account back got over 60M worth of currency onit ><;

It's usually recommended you not log out like that, that's why the /logout function is there. I've never heard of it causing problems on SE's end, but I suppose there's a first time for everything.
