Hanuman is my #1 pick
Monkey with magic fruit. Opo's are naturally strong for their level as well so it seems like a great pick.
Between Ruszor and slime, Ruszor please.
Fun to have a big, interesting looking pet who has a good attack.

Ruszor, no question.
Ruszors are way cooler than slimes by miles. Why would you want a little puddle of glop when you can have a giant walrus with massive fangs?
+1 Ruszors
Ruszor. I wish we knew a lot more about what it's going to come out the gate with since this being awesome is conditional on it keeping its TP stuff. Then again, better DD is what I want... so I would choose the ruszor over the slime either way, I think. However, and this needs to be stressed again I think, I want the scorpion if the Ruszor is going to be lessened in any way.
For the rest, the original assessment stands. If this opo-opo is going to come out with all of Hanuman's actual abilities, I'd choose that. If not, the hippogryph. We're looking down the barrel of having only one untested avian jug, and I'd rather have another in case the apkallu isn't so great at DDing. As for the crab, the model is cool, but I don't care about using it as a pet. I'm sure any tanking role it could possibly be destined for will be handled handsomely by the adamantoise.

The Adamantoise isn't going to be a jug pet. SE stated that it'll be more like the avatars Odin and Alexander.
I can't choose which pet from the list I'd prefer because it all depends on what SE nerfs, and what kinda charges they place on the various Tactical Point moves. It's nice to know what's being considered though.
Oh, ok. I had thought it was, and it was specifically behemoths and other nasty extra-things they were planning to do that with. Either way, ditch the crab.
At this point its like we are picking the prom king and queen. All we know about them is that someone is captain of the football team and someone else has big boobs. A popularity contest for bst's isn't really the best way to decide the future of the job <_<
Without info you CANT say that a ruszor jug pet would be a stronger dd then a slime, or make and definitive statements about any of the possible new pets. There is no way of knowing what SE plans to do with trait, stats, or tp moves. All though assuming that something about a pet is going to be nerfed or not is what we have gotten used to unfortunately. I just like to think with this being the last tear of jugs that they will be special and help bst to achieve what ever SE was going for when they made bst.
But anyway I'll be voting for the Hippogryph today. Dipper is well... I don't think I have to say it. I would love a stronger thf pet ^^
The Sublimely Magnificent Ject Shot Mark III
Why can't we get 4 new jugs and get Ruszor and Hippogryph!
Give us more bang for our buck Camate!
PLEASE!!!
Nihonjin ga daisuki desu hohoho! m(_ _)m
Utility over Aesthetics for me, I leveled the job to get stuff done, Not play dress up with my pet.
Slime > Ruszor.
Slime for me.
I'll take a pet that can be used as a decent tank with heavy physical resistance over a fancy-looking Walrus (if Slugs lost their Absorb Water trait, So will Ruszors, Don't get your hopes up on that).
Only way they could screw up slime is if they nerfed its HP or Resistance... Which they haven't done extensively to any mob. All pets retain their resistances (Yuly: Wind, Fargann:Water, and so forth).
That being said, I'd take a Hippogryph over them all if it kept its THF-Job.
