    The only question I have to the dev team is this: Why does Dynamis need to be changed?

    Dynamis is fine the way it is now. Based on what people have been saying about the Dynamis changes, it sounds like you are going to turn Dynamis into Abyssea which would completely ruin Dynamis. Dynamis is probably the only event in game that keeps me from quitting the game forever. The mechanics of it, as a puller, will never get tiring. Why change something that works so well?

    I can understand dev team changing sky and sea since people don't really go there anymore but there's still a large number of people that do Dynamis. Though many of us relic hunters would love Dynamis to be instanced, there is no need to revamp all of Dynamis and change it entirely.

    from what i personally grasped from the origional post, Dynamis may well end up the new "cool" place to exp, in which case, drops from particular mobs would be restricted to dropping in party treasure pool, such as AF3 from boxes in Abyssea. To me this makes sense. Though SE may have other plans.

    No, it's not. It hasn't been fine since shortly after its inception. The problems are not as serious now due to loss of interest, but they are still there. Was your group one of the ones that was constantly jumping other groups and ruining their plans?

    And all you dynamis purists should be happy to know that these changes don't affect the dreamworld areas (yet). So if you love jumping other LSes and minimum 72 hour cooldowns, feel free to go to those areas.

    When an hourglass still costed 1,000,000 gil, my shell was only fighting with one other shell for northlands zones. However, we made an agreement with that shell to alternate northlands on our set day. When the glass was lowered to 500,000 gil, there were all these new shells that popped up out of nowhere and thus we were fighting for zone coverage with six different shells. This is why I would like to see Dynamis instanced. But that is all I would like to see changed. Nowadays, due to Abyssea and newer gear, not as many people want to do Dynamis which is better. No one to jump your zone and steal it from you.

    Dynamis itself doesn't need to be changed. Placement of monsters, distribution of items, this is all fine for the time being. Even the 72 hour cooldown is fine for many of us. We don't want to spend 3-5 days in Dynamis per week, two is more than enough.

    I would like to ask that people respect the reason for this forum. I realize that there are strong opinions both ways as to why or why not dynamis should be changed, and whether or not these proposed changes are good. However, please confine that debate to the other forums and leave this forum to the purpose of posing specific questions we would like to see answered. I am not looking for player's opinions on what the answers may be, but rather hoping for specific information to avoid speculation. That being said, I would be please if those who have strayed would remove their posts, and if future posters would refrain from deviating again.

    There was no such increase in dynamis groups on Shiva. There was about the same before and after.

    This is why I would like to see Dynamis instanced.
    These changes are being made because dynamis cannot be "instanced."

    Way to go find the negative in everything that's posted in favour of the current system. I applaud your douchebaggery.
    You don't have to "go and find it." It's just there. The current system has always had flaws that cannot be denied. It's beyond me how it can be "loved" the way it is by a few posters that it's hard not to assume that they are the ones that benefitted most from the system's defects. I won't go that far, but this is basically just another case of people being resistant to change when they really don't know what the outcome will be.

    How will group selection be able to enter if it is key item?

    in otherwords how do i have a run with LINKSHELL ONLY vs a WoE setup? like is it possalbe some random person walks in lots on a 100 and runs out ?

It will be an open area, like Abyssea, NOT LIKE WALK OF ECHOES (WHICH, by the way, is also being revamped)

    Once more for good measure [SIZE=6]Dynamis is not being turned into walk of echoes.
