Subtle Blow Negative Gear ~ BLU

I am trying to learn Blue Magic spells and have run into the problem that most of the time, mobs are missing me. I want to be able to feed mobs TP without even trying, which means no spamming Dia. I currently have one piece of armor (Sharpeye Mantle) and have -6 to my Subtle Blow. I'd like to get that lower so that I can feed more TP easier. I am also trying to make sure that I sub a job that does not have Subtle Blow naturally, as well as making sure that I do not set spells that give it to me.

Any suggestions?

The only other thing they can get -Subtle Blow is Barbarian Mittens. Seriously though, why don't you want to spam Dia?

Lazy, mostly. I have been saving my MP for healing so that I can get a few mobs on me and not have to spam spells, I can just let them get their own TP. But I still like to beat on them to get their health low so that when they use the move I want, I can hit them once and see if I learned the spell.

How about Evasion minus? That would make more sense than subtle blow minus since subtle blow will only lessen the tp gain by each hit you land but you want to get hit by the mob since they gain tp faster by hitting instead ob beeing hitten.

I suppose Evasion down gear would make a LOT more sense. That would mean they can actually hit me and build their TP faster than me beating on them instead. Maybe some level 1 Relic weapons could work too...

yes i always thought subtle blow reduced the amount of tp the mob gains one reason back in the day /nin was bad for spell hunting also if i have problems with being hit i just get naked xD sometimes with only af1 gloves on

Yeah, I was thinking of going with negative Subtle Blow gear because I thought that would be easier. I completely over thought the idea of just going with Evasion down gear. That would be a lot easier to come by. Now I just have to figure out which would be the best gear to choose that would have the largest effect.

I've found that when I try to hit the mob with my fists, I miss. Constantly. That doesn't really help them build TP any quicker.

yea what else would someone use to tp on blu w/o having mnk lvled for h2h skill O.o
yea i guess clubs but this is the same
