Create a new character!? Say what?

I deleted my character so I could update the data on the test server.

Curious like I am, I decided to just have a quick run through with Create A Character, shocking fact is it actually works.

I'm assuming this is a bug if not disregard this topic.

I don't really think they intended for you to delete your character but since it would leave an open test slot I don't see why it would be a problem

Your character data has been copied to the test server. Please read the following for details on logging into the test server.

If you wish to re-copy the character data, please delete the character on the test server and press "Copy Character Data" button

* Please make sure not to delete the character other than the one on to the test server.
* In case the character on the test server is not deleted, the character data cannot be copied.
* Only the data of the character selected during the application process can be copied.
* Copying of the character data may take some time. In case the character is not displayed in the character selection menu, please wait a while and try again later.

Its true... I read that and somehow missed the 'not' in the second bullet point- Though most people would interpret this as only being able to copy your character again, and that you can't just create a brand new one.

Well, it's probably safe to say it's not intended by SE for you to create a new character on the test server... but it's probably not a major problem, either.
