An idea to make mules better!

We do it everyday...transfer items to and from mules...I would assume that mules consist of a large part of the revenue made, so why not make them a little more user friendly??

    My Idea:
When creating a character, make it an option to be a mule or just a playable character.

    Differences/Benefits of a mule:
If you select mule then the character would be stuck at level 1 and quests would be unavailable. You could not leave your mog house in fact. However, make them able to send/receive from their house and place items on AH. Also make it so all of the gobbie bag expansions have been complete and open the sack, satchel, locker, storage, and safe to the max amount of spaces. Also figure out a way to allow the playable character on the same account to have an easier time sending items to the mules...This send 8 at a time logoff/logon collect logoff/logon routine is...well...getting redundant.

This would also help keep track of just how many of the characters are actually mules.

Just a thought...What do you think?

There is a way to make mules unecessary. All they'd have to do is set up the mog house so that each piece of furniture acts like a "mog sack" or "mog satchel". But the problem is with the amount of data that's transmitted. That, too, could be fixed if they'd set it up so that the contents of a piece of furniture only loads when you actually access it, kind of like widescan.

I'd love to have something like an Alchemist's Cabinet where I could keep all my medicines. Ninjas could have a piece of furniture for storing tools. A cabinet for rangers to store their arrows. People who are into cooking could have a vegetable bin, a meat cooler, a bread box.

But I do like the idea of giving our mog houses an "internet connection" to access the auction house, and a send/receive box in our mog houses. Muling does suck. The worst part is having to run all the way from the mog house to the auction house and back.

But even better than that, they could set things up so that if you mule something within the same account, the character you send to would "auto-receive" the items and place them either in the receiving character's inventory, or anywhere else there might be space to hold them. They could even do an "auto-retrieve" so you can access the mog house of other characters on the same account. There is "a way" to do this. The only question is... will they do it?

I can't imagine them actually making mules unnecessary, though. They make an extra $15 a month off me for my mules and I don't imagine they'd want to part with that income. At the same time, I'd probably still keep the mules because I do have a different mule for each craft.
