Better Widescreen Support Please?

I realise this is a very minor issue, and I am only really posting it on the heals of Dev comments about other visual tweaks.

But I personally am really bugged by the widescreen support in this game. Namely the name as it appears above your character, and linkshell looking like a squashed tomato.

Again, the title screen has been mentioned before with regards to it looking messy, again it really bothers me that at the opening of the game, when choosing your character, the proportions are all wrong.

Unless there's a way in game to fix this and I've missed it

I run at 1920 x 1080 and it looks fine with 1920 x 1080 graphics overlay settings and 2048 x 2048 background resolution.

They're talking about the character name font and the icon next to your name. These are not affected by the aspect ratio setting and always assume 4:3 no matter what the aspect ratio is set to.

Well I guess that settles that. If half the people who play the game every day can't even notice the problem when they look, then it's obviously not an important enough issue.

For the record though, next time you Level Sync in widescreen mode, look at the level sync logo above your character, and then look at the level sync logo in the top left with the rest of your statuses. THAT is the issue.

Half the people out there with widescreen TV's don't notice when their cable company broadcasts something formatted for 4:3 instead of 16:9 but that doesn't make it an acceptable thing to do because the other half do notice.
