Again, the title screen has been mentioned before with regards to it looking messy, again it really bothers me that at the opening of the game, when choosing your character, the proportions are all wrong.

Change your aspect ratio setting in the ingame options.

edit: derp, already been covered. Still, my names don't look stretched to me. I could just be used to it, but I'm not seeing this.
