If you could have one thing within Final Fantasy XI, What would it be? Only list one thing and the reason why please!
Thing: An upgraded Mog house!
Reason: I could hold more furnishings and have more rooms!

Thing: An upgraded Mog house!
Reason: I could hold more furnishings and have more rooms!
Thing: Dungeon Crawl
Reason: Let's face it almost every other event in FFXI is FARM FARM FARM FARM FARM FARM KILL NM FARM FARM FARM FARM or KILLNMWAITTHREEDAYSKILLNM, or now with Voidwatch, KILLNMKILLNMKILLNMKILLNM. This MMO needs a good dungeon system where you fight through monsters, or avoid monsters to get to certain Boss fights to get phat lootz. Just realize SE, that phat lootz means something worth spending 2 hours in 1 dungeon for (even if it's like a 20% drop rate).
Yeah I know its coming, let's hope they don't mess it up
A new expansion every 2 years.
Need:
An expansion that provides challenges all over the globe (CoP) a good storyline and fun CGs to watch (WotG) coulped with buffs we've come to enjoy (abyssea) and a reward system of VW, however, with one exception. We choose our prize.
One of The New Armor Sets
An upgrade to your CoP Ring
All of the HMP to upgrade your Emp Weapon
An Mythic Weapon
Reason:
I suggest this because it seeems as if this is our last go around, and if we are going all-out might as well do something that reflects the atmosphere.
Polar Bears.
Reason: Do you even need one?
THING: Replace NPC Fellow AI with spell/ability commands and allow them to be called anywhere.
REASON: The AI is usually BAD. Having full control of your fellow would allow much more complex fights and strategies. And that would rock.
Could not possibly agree more with the dungeon thing. A mix of old Dynamis (huge map, hordes of enemies, several different paths to take, long duration), new Dynamis (ability to sneak through certain locations), Limbus/Salvage (different objectives for each dungeon, different and more complex mechanics to progress), Einherjar (tiered system, although with better accessibility for final dungeon, if there is such a thing) and Voidwatch (tough NMs).
And if I could also mention something it should not have:
- Staggering mobs, because fuck staggering
- Detrimental effects that you have to work through, like disabling subjobs, or magic, or gear, etc. This is just a lazy way of artificially increasing difficulty (or the time wasting factor), without actually increasing it. It's what ruined Salvage for me. We have jobs and gear leveled so we can use them. Make stuff genuinely difficult, don't restrict our ability to play the game.
All affirmations are true in some sense, false in some sense, meaningless in some sense, true and false in some sense, true and meaningless in some sense, false and meaningless in some sense, and true and false and meaningless in some sense.

FFXI: Leviathan > Arcon
FFXIV: Selbina > Arcon Villiers
Siren because we need another nude avatar.
A NEW EXPANSION
WoW just got one, xiv is basically getting their first with v2 but xi is soon to be lvl 99 stuck in a lvl 75 world. We need more to do than kill nm after nm after nm. Raids would be a good time, a new continent, new mobs, new challanges and gear that didnt involve killing a single nm 75 times, I mean add some variety. I miss the days of spamming nyzul for an askar frankly lol. Aby was a lame excuss for an 'expansion' all it is is busy work. Would be nice to see a nm that didnt need staggering too. That was a bad concept from the beginning imo
Sometimes you just have to laugh at yourself, you would cry your eyes out if you didn't.
