Once you have spoken to one of the above goblins, you will be awarded a new Daily Point every Earth day at 12:00am (JST).
You will be able to select five different amounts of points that you would like to consume at once, and depending on the amount selected the reward will vary.
You can also receive daily points by trading unneeded rare items to the goblins.
(It depends on the item, but there will be some that cannot be traded.)
*When trading items, there will be a cap on the amount of daily points you can earn in a single Earth day.

*The Daily Points obtainable on the Test Server are higher than normal for testing purposes.
*The rewards obtainable on the Test Server are just samples and will differ from the actual rewards.
No idea yet on what kind of rewards we're talking about exactly, but I must say that I think this is a pretty darn good idea.

Way to kill two birds with one stone by involving unused 'rare' items too, I hope I can trade in some of my Empyrean seals.

I guess the argument here will be that "FFXI is too easy! >:|" or something along those lines. They do have to be careful with the actual reward content though. If there's anything serious it better be super rare.

Personally, I think it's a great idea. I'm all about the log-in for 2-3 hours and play a video game/accomplish things Final Fantasy XI. This just adds a new, potentially exciting element to that. Although, unlike in previous debates over things like Abyssea that are just less time-consuming...this Daily Reward system can be said to be too easy for FFXI. It's worth discussing I think!
