    I like the 360 controller because it feels well made. 3rd party controllers (mostly logitech is what i've used) feel too light and wimpy. the 360 controller has a nice heft to it. Only thing I don't like about the 360 controller is the hat switch. always seems unresponsive for me (i've tried 3 different ones)
