se releases FFXI-2 the lost cities a complete sequel to ffxi that has all the missing areas that they didnt add yet but its a 2nd game but u could
transfer ur ffxi charector over to it as well
since it would be its own game and not an expansion se would have 10 more gigs to use. of course to make it woth it we would get new jobs and addiotonal level caps as well

Or SE could offer free PC download to PS2 users and tell them they got X amount of time to switch clients

PS2 DNAS servers are frozen at this point. Sony basically just keeps it running in a closet somewhere. They don't accept applications for new games and haven't for a long time.
