If even a modest chunk of those resources were instead being devoted to FFXI I think we would have a much richer gaming experience, rather than a thousand little inconveniences that take SE years to admit are there, to say nothing of the time it takes them to address the issues.
And without those resources being put into 11 people are still paying SE to play where as that isn't true about 14.
