Roadmap for October 2011 "Relic"

Could be.. i wonder if this is the "Relic +2" they were talking about a few weeks ago. Weird how differently they're wording it though. With synergy and synthesis caps rising, i wouldn't doubt these being a craftable upgrade.

They already said they would be fixed stat upgrades in the giant thread on this subject about a month ago. We were supposed to have relic gear augments right now but people grabbed the pitchforks and torches and started making noise so they changed their plans. The god gear and abjuration gear augments were hugely unpopular and SE apparently got the message this time.

You probably made 99 million of that off of one or two stupid rich linkshells. Honestly, look around. there are very few people with sky gear that has any sort of decent augment on it, because no one wants to throw money out the window. Only a few people have that much gil to waste, and they made you rich. Its really not very popular.

It's not popular because being the best you can be at any certain job isn't popular.

Sure sure, i read that thread. However, I never mentioned random augs in my statement, but who's to say synergy won't be involved? Such as trade X relic with Y item and synth Z (static) result? It's a possibility if they want to continue the synergy upgrade system.

On another note, i was pointing out how in that thread they specifically called it "relic +2" but said something like "upgrade to relic and relic+1" in the roadmap.

Sure sure, i read that thread. However, I never mentioned random augs in my statement, but who's to say synergy won't be involved? Such as trade X relic with Y item and synth Z (static) result? It's a possibility if they want to continue the synergy upgrade system.

-Stats will be attached with static values
-Will be enhanced from a method other than synergy
-After enhancing the equipment, the level at which they can be equipped will be increased
-Will be increasing the difficulty more than we originally planned

*The implementation timing won’t be in time for the upcoming version update and is currently under consideration.

So hopefully no synergy crap.
