Cruor farming as a secondary goal, or side effect? I've accumulated over 8M cruor so far, and I only ever went cruor farming one single time, and I promise you, it's not from that. I believe for the vast majority of people the vast majority of cruor comes from other things than purposefully cruor farming runs.
I wouldn't mind an option for this, as Azure, Ruby and Amber can all be annoying, but I don't think it's necessary. Anything other than EXP you shouldn't do with people you don't trust. And seal farming, although that doesn't require lights anyway.
All affirmations are true in some sense, false in some sense, meaningless in some sense, true and false in some sense, true and meaningless in some sense, false and meaningless in some sense, and true and false and meaningless in some sense.

Yes but the context presented was cruor farming, and if you're going out specifically to farm cruor the bulk of your cruor is going to be from the alternating chain kills and most assuredly not from blue chests.
If you want to cruor farm via blue boxes, then just fight monsters that don't give ruby light. It's not like ANY abyssea trash mob is hard for an elite player with all jobs to 95.
I'd be happy if they just made it so you could lock your lights so you don't gain any more of any category. But really I'm fine with the current system and would rather they be doing better things with their time.

To be fair, cruor chain parties actually require some concentration and communication to keep going, and don't generally benefit from more bodies. Maybe I've just run into bad luck/am terrible at this game, but if I'm specifically targeting cruor I tend to do way better solo than even with one other person working through another camp. More cruor is good, for sure, but I'm totally 100% satisfied with 30-40k an hour from worms if it means I don't have to pay attention.

I generally do an exp pt > cap lights > solo cruor with cruor chains. Ruby doesn't hurt any, though it would be nice to drop it to 0 after I leave the exp pt, even though I wouldn't hold off on ruby kills while soloing. TBH I'd probably drop all my azure too if I had enough time built up, and farm KIs while I was there![]()
