Sorry, just feeling a little nostalgic. Had the pleasure of installing the game on my new old PS3, and watching that crystal spin while Vana'Diel March and the Chains of Promathea music played really got me going. I remember playing through an entire night nonestop playing my first job from Gustaberg through Konschtat and into Valkurm in one go, stuff like that and my marriage mean more to me than anything I could ever do in the game anymore. But if they ever did anything with the three nations again, as I'm going into the U.S. Air Force, having the chance to participate in a Bastokan Air Force would probably rank #2 in my favorite memories of Final Fantasy XI.
I know its just one mission, and its the jeuno airforce, not bastokan, but seriously, work on that CoP =P. Airship fight was awesome back in the day, and its not a challenge anymore, but the cutscenes and battlefield accompanied with it make it well worthwhile.

I agree, it was the challenge from hell at times but you felt you accomplished something, the story line was fun...loved those 3 tarus, loved their ending story.
