not considering how dead Woe is on my server, add that to drop rate on coins. You can only do woe during jp time now. Maybe 300hours but still a stupid amount of time for just brewing either way.

With how easy the nms are for emp gun you would save much more time and effort just doing it over WoE.
ya probably but I am doing h2h emp, there is only so much help you can expect from your static group. Thats why i just wanted to see how Jishnu compared to say pummel. Not many people seem to have Jishnu out there, none of my group ever seen it before. The first time I did it after I got was on a lvl 15 mob by dem crag for fun and they were all wtf was that.
The drop rate on coins is good. You're doing the wrong fluxes if you're not getting coins, and/or you're just going by word of mouth of all the tardis who said coins rates were bad (because they weren't doing good coin fluxes) without actually trying it for yourself. If it's dead then go closer to japanese prime time, it'll be busy then.
Not entirely true - depending on the weapon skill and mob weaknesses.
Skillchain damage with brew - especially for example: light skillchains on dark based mobs (ever seen a MNK smite-brew Rani?) can outperform 2x elemental weapon skills - even assuming you have elemental attack atmas etc.
If we are talking about Empyrean weapon skills - then yes a handful work well with it - and I daresay Jishnu is in that category.
Mobs with low MDB however (like apademak, shinryu, isgebind etc) are best brewed with elemental weapon skills.
*edit* the elemental weapon skills I am referring to are non-empyrean. Wildfire & cloudsplitter will always come out on top.

Tried it last night on apadamek, 25020 every ws on the dot, with anywhere from 11-25k lights. Killing him in 4 shots. almost in 3 if I had ranger specific buffs. it was very fun. Figured I could kill 5-6 of him in the duration of one brew.
Just to bump the point on a WoE Gun being worthwhile: Yes, it's a great brew weapon, but unless you have either Anni or Yoichi, either WoE gun or Armageddon would be very worthwhile additions for ranger. The amount of damage you can output without taking hate is superb. On high tier voidwatch fights on corsair I can put out around 20k damage before taking hate once. As far as damage goes, Wildfire equals most good physical empyrean WSs against most high-tier mobs. That's without any att/mab buffs (because Brds give march and Cors give save TP/regain). Ranger should be similar, and after I finish +2ing my Rng gear for my 4-hit Armageddon setup, I'll try it for myself.
But I'm not convinced jishnu's, unless buffed out the ass, could match the consistancy of Wildfire, and that's before taking enmity into concideration. Obviously, Namas/Coronach spam is the top tier for ranger on voidwatch, but I'm now leaning towards Arma being better than Gandiva for VW. Though that said, the only Jishnu's Rng's in the LS are one Gandiva who's always on Whm, and one WoE Bow.
When I brewed my Buhkis I was doing roughly 29k Dmg per shot. Brewing with Jishnu's is just fun.
