    Registration Code Used, Unable to Obtain POL ID

    A friend of mine is having considerable trouble logging in to and playing FFXI. He purchased the Ultimate Collection new about a month ago and began installation and setup of PlayOnline. After inputting the registration code and personal information, the system crashed with, according to him, error code PL-006. He then restarted and discovered that he had not yet received a PlayOnline ID during the process. Thusly, he could not log in nor continue the registration process. The registration code only awarded him an "invalid code" message when input again. Surely he will not have to purchase another copy of the game just to get a second registration code, will he? Any help will be appreciated!

    Tell him to call the POL support and have the registration code at hand. Make sure he explains what happened and have the same information he registered on the account when he created it for identity confirmation. The support should be able to inform him the final account code or maybe even reset the code for him to attempt again. Whatever is best for this case.

    Thank you, sir. Unfortunately, I seem to be unable to find a phone number to call on any of their support pages. It all seems to go in a loop, with decent information but no way to actually contact anyone.
