Barrier Tusk is not a phalanx.

its worthless because Barrier tusk adds to what is already present. Meaning you have to have -elemental damage gear or physical damage gear on in order for barrier tusk to add anything. You notice this by checking your stats when you don't have it on, and then when you do. It literally adds nothing, while Phallanx actually adds to the player. Worthless spell, I don't use it unless I'm hardly paying attention, I'm in an event, and want to make it look like I"m doing something outside of proc'n spells. SE.... you f*cked up good this change of updates, a Heavy Strike that isn't worth a damn, and a phalanx-like spell that has to have gear with the defensive effects in order to even do anything. Thanks for making it look like your doing something when in truth your sitting on your hands and have never played BLU /slowclap.

First off a good BLU should already have a PDT and MDT set on hand. Second, what are you talking about? You still get the damage reduction even if you have 0 DT.

-Damage taken is not a visible stat. Phalanx is not a visible stat. You can see neither yet both provide a bonus to your defensive ability. You're either a hardcore troll or are really bad at the game.
