The topic has kind of died down.
I do remember SE was planning around "mid-fall" on rectifying the situation.
So, any update about this?
I have finally purchased the Abyssea collection a few days ago after a long break, and found out that I cannot register it without making the transfer.
Obviously, I am unwilling to do the transfer as I am unwilling to give up my recurring credit card payments method.
Kind of disappointed right now since I was planning to really start up some Abyssea during my vacation.

The payments through credit card without click and buy come in the form of buying crysta with a credit card. When they implement the ability to pay the exact amount (which should be coming soon), that should be sufficient to appease you.
