Mobile FoV/GoV! (Magian Tome?)

They should just re-purpose the Magian Spectacles book to handle FoV/GoV also so you don't even need to backtrack to a book incase you need buffs/change page #.

One of the best ideas I've heard on this forum.

So here's what you do. Make an item like the magian specs. It's icon will more then likely be a book. When you get to the zone in which you wish to participate in FoV/GoV, you go to the book placed at the entrance or outpost and "sync" your tome to it. You can then access it from anywhere in that zone. This would eliminate the need for having to place 10 tomes in "bad" zones.
Additionaly I belive that zoning should unsync your book. Though this may result in loss of progress if exicuted improporly.

Also, zoning removing progress would have the adverse effect of making tractor cause people lose their training regime progress. (|No, thanks.|)

yes, cause protshell and haste is all there is to whm.

But really, with autorepeat on pages, I don't see this as much of a problem anymore. If anything, i'd rather just be able to pay 4x as many tabs to get a 3x duration haste. 80-100 tabs for 30 minutes haste, Yes Please.

I don't see why you would need to sync it. Would be just another unneeded step, and the summoned book should automatically know what zone it's in and give pages relevant to it.

It can just be part of the Magian book anyhow. It's primarily the higher-level camps where the book positions are horrible for, so the lvl75 requirement for getting the specs aren't that big a deal.


That or just make it a new command so we don't have to go inventory-1 on it. Speaking of commands, give us access to /sprint outside of Ballista when not engaged in any form of combat (including running from aggro)

They should add more books period!! This way you only sign up for it once, make it auto repeat and go kill your mob. Only come back once every 40 mnts to renew buffs. They should add more books to almost ALL areas in the game. Raising your level is no longer a grind now - so they should make this as fast as possible.

I'd rather less books, not more. They stand out like a sore thumb, just like the WoTG/Abyssea Maws & Voidwatch rifts do.
