    FINAL FANTASY XI Ultimate Collection Abyssea Edition

    Hello. I just bought FINAL FANTASY XI Ultimate Collection Abyssea Edition on steam, and its currently installing. I would just like to ask, is there a way to find out your username to log on beforehand? I already have the game installed. All i can find is the CD-keys, and those dosent really help me right now. And also now, i cant start up the original FFXI(the one without steam, saying game aint installed now) - any fix around this? Or do i need to let Abyssea edition install completely now? -.-

    You shouldn't have let Steam start the download/install. It breaks the normal installation as soon as it starts. If you reinstall from your disc, it will fix the registry keys and let Windows see the installation. You only need Steam to view the CD key if you already have the game installed, you don't need it to install anything.
