Ok I know I'm probably the only one that thinks this, but why doesn't Throwing have a weaponskill? It is currently (and I know it had a use in sky, but no one does sky anymore and when they do they don't USE the throwing dispel items) the most useless thing to level in the game. Items like the Jinx discuss do not proc enough to really warrent hitting anything on a regular basis. The only reason to have a throwing weapon at all (not including things in the 'ammo' slot the help the player in general) but such things as boomerangs and so on and so forth in a party situation is to pull without taking the gil to use arrows or bolts or other gil needy items. Which you need no skill to pull because it doesn't matter if you hit the thing or not to gain hate. So what is the point of throwing even being able to be skilled up, be an offensive capable skill, and NOT have a weaponskill? It is the only offensive capable weapon in the game with not weaponskill. It could be made rng only like most ranged weaponskills, or even thf rng nin? dnc? I asked around about it and several people told me that if throwing got a ws even one at level 90 that took 350+ skill to get, they would level throwing in a heartbeat. Just some food for thought.
