How do you level from 1 to 99 in just a couple hours? It takes me almost an hour just to get to 12 and then roughly 5 hours to go from there to 30ish. Then it takes me several hours to get from 30 to 99 in abyssea.
What am I doing wrong? I feel like I am wasting a ton of time if GreatGuardian says it can be done in just 2 hours

I don't think anyone really cares about offhand, unquantified comments from 6 months ago.

Easy answer? GoV burn > Abyssea burn. 1-99 in 2 hours? Not happening. But that assumes the job is at level 1 to start with. Most players had the majority of jobs at 37+ from 75. A good Abyssea party hits 500k/hr. That's just a couple hours 30-75.

GoV = grounds of valor right? Apparently low level players are doing those a lot in Gusgen Mines and Crawler's Nest. At least on my server anyway. Sorry for the short derail.

Can someone tell me if the Overall DPS is better with 99 Spharai or 99 Verethragna? (and S. shinji vs v. smite?)
i'm sitting on 1500 plates, was waiting for update, now just need some info~

you'll want both. to simplify, on long fights, spharai will win in the long run, but on short fights , verthragna owns it, due to impetus ( for example on zerging figths, voidwatch NMs etc).

Example: Arch dynamis lord zerg, no way in hell spharai can keep up with 300TP aftermath + impetus boost on verethragna.

Just wondering, why doesn't anybody ever consider Glanzfaust in the big comparison among MNK weapons?
Seems to me it's quite a nice weapon now, and very easily upgradeable to level 99 if you already have it, unlike Empy and Relic.

Dunno if they "fixed" the Focus/Dodge augment with the lv 99 version, but even without those it seems a very solid weapon to me.

Glanzfaust is not bad but you need shijin because ascetic's fury is garbage (probably even even with the claimed 40% boost). So in the end spharai is better since it has a superior DPS. The augment are hardly useful. Seems only competitive for zergs because of AM2/3. Kenkonken seems more useful as a mythic. I'm going as far as saying than KKK pup beat glanzfaust MNK.
