What am I missing...

I don't always have time for big parties to get seals, or friends not on when I am, so I do alot of Dominion Ops. Why is it that my friends get two seals and I have not gotten my first. Its funny really, my friends can't believe it, I just don't get seals, played full 2 hours this morning not one seal. Usually I'm getting my first right before everyone else is about to get their third.

Is there something I'm missing, wouldn't be the first time I'm the last to know. Is there a trick to getting seals from dominion?

The trick is being Gladstone Gander.

And not ever having full inventory.

This, if you're not paying attention. And you only get one per [game] day, I think.

You can only get one seal from Dom Ops every game day. And it's random. And full inventory will prevent you from getting a seal.

As far as I know, you won't even get a message saying you couldn't obtain it due to full inventory. But i could be wrong about that.

After researching this post using Wikipedia, I both learned who Gladstone Gander is and that Scrooge once commented on Donald Duck's "...eternal tendency towards self-destruction...". Apparently the Scrooge McDuck comics were as dark and edgy as anything else during the late 90's!

As for seals from Dominion OPs:

It's luck. You can only get one a day. You won't get one if your inventory is full. All form is emptiness. All emptiness is form. Unshackle yourself from desire and you shall be truly free.

It is not entirely true that a full inventory prevents seals from quests to be had.

If you have at least one of the seals you are getting, you will get it, which can be quite interesting since from the normal treasure poo'l this does not work.

It also made me do quests for quite a while this way, trying to see if I could 'fool' the system by rewarding me with a seal I already have, instead of something else. As one might guess, I would mostly get nothing then heh... a pity, really.


But yeah, if you happen to be getting a seal you already have at least 1 in your gobbie bag, you will get it even if the inventory is full.


Personally I usually do not get any seals, too, not with an open inventory even so you are not alone fer sure!

Ive had the same problem, plenty of inventory space but hours of no seals. Im hoping its a bug like the messages I see saying a chest has dropped and I cant see it on the screen until someone else opens it or the maws that dont appear when you teleport to them from jeuno........

Happens to me often as well even with 20 spaces open.

I conclude that it's luck based, and my luck sucks. Maybe yours does too. XD
