    just wondering, pretty cool to have a central location for players to talk other then third party sites.

    Two years ago I asked a CSR at game dev conference why they didn't have official forums. He said they wanted to have the players manage forums. :/ Not sure why you would encourage your community to fragment itself.

    I think back then, the main thing was let players run their communities. It does take alot of manhours and work to make a community work. Some studios just have a harder time trying to moderate forums, work on the game, scout the forums, etc. However I think now with the changes, community sites are getting more fragmented and they want more control with FF 14 getting closer etc.

    Either I am happy this is here. =)
