Is it just me...or is THF (TH whore) useless for most (all?) of the things added/adjusted in this update?

To be fair, I haven't tried most of the new HKCNMS, but I'm operating under the assumption that THF will not be desired for these just like every other battlefield of this type.

Am I wrong in this? Have any of you tried them and had good experiences (on THF)?

I'm having a pretty hard time being motivated to do any of this stuff.

Looking at a trial of 1500 Heavy Metal plates that is tied to a ridiculous event like voidwatch is leaving me devoid of motivation to work on my twashtar as well.
