Hi I saw this website off alla forum and I love it so much it has helped me so much that I want to help spread it out to other blue mages who might have not seen it before. I AM NOT THE CREATOR OF THIS WEBSITE!

My Name is Myriads, and I’m a rather quiet Beastmaster on the Phoenix Server who got the crazy idea into his head to solo Blue Mage from 1 to 75. I did. And on the way with help from lots of friends I learned all of my spells.

Like all of us here, finding where you need to go, and what sort of party and items you may need to hunt a specific monster, can take a lot of work. And it often costs precious exp also. I used a lot of online forums and sites to learn from. To me it was fun. But often information was hard to come by.

So I decided to create a website that would help other Blue Mages.

I LOVE that site...it's helped me get so many blu spells..I only lack a couple now because it can be tough to find people to help out with the harder to get spells (like body slam)

Once FFXI comes back up and people start posting more and checking here I believe people are gonna love this thread. This website is my #1 goto website about blue spell hunting.

Just go solo it. I did it at 75, I'm sure you can do it at 90. Liberal use of sleep spells make them extremely manageable.

edit: I'm referring to the dahaks on mount z.

This site is great, I still use it all the time. Sometimes there are easier ways of obtaining spells that the site doesn't mention though, especially when solo/duoing. Don't forget about equipping spells that increase the chance of the mob using the spell you're trying to learn, and ALWAYS have AF gloves on...gloves help considerably, but Blue Magic Skill is probably most important when trying to learn spells.

what spells increase the chance of a mob using a certain spell by being equiped?

Sorry, I was talking about Monster Correlation. Example: An Arcana spell equipped against an Undead monster increases chance of learning other arcana spells, etc.
