Can someone give me a rational reason why there is only one copy of Fistule when every other monster that drops Empyrean Weapon upgrade items has three copies? Yes, it is a free-spawn NM so you have the chance to get it every 15-20 minutes, but maybe Bahamut is a strange server because there is always competition for it. Day or night, there is always someone at Fistule. It's bad enough that Farsha is bar-none the single worst Empyrean, but people have to fight tooth-and-nail to get it?

Could you please add in two popped instances of Fistule that uses Giant Slug Eyestalk and Eft Blood to pop since they are existing items, or new items from the Slugs, Leeches, and Flans?

You're guess is as good as mine. Maybe they'll consider changing the pop conditions to ease the stress for the jobs that need it.

I've been having this same problem. I hope that SE adds to multiples of this mob and lowers the respawn time so multiple groups can kill like the other empy mobs, or makes it a forced pop mob.

because its the only stage 1 empy mob that can be farmed ever 10-20 mins 100% pop and takes less then 6 mins to kill. meaning you can feasibly with minimal work get it done in a day or 2 SOLO.

But this game isn't meant to be played solo. Plus, if you get a group of enough people, you can get the 50 helms for Almace is less then a day, guaranteed (chest farm is super effective, and worst case, you can farm key items, easier then claiming a camped Fistule), whereas with Fistule, if you have competition for getting claim, you are SOL.

I can give you several irrational reasons, if that would make you feel better.

Maybe it's to discourage people from making a Farsha, because the weapon is just that bad.

Maybe it's because Fistule's constant jiggling requires more processing power than the movement of the average monster.

There generally is some competition for this NM, but it doesn't mean it is something that is constantly camped; The few times that I have camped it there was little to no competition at all. and that was for 2-3 hours. maybe try farming it before or after primetime, since our server is quite large compared to most.

I don't know... perhaps Fistule is a bit different, but I had 10 Pustules there with it to keep me and myself busy and world still turns so... I don't know.

spent 8 hours in kon. last night farming dark rings / hairpins about hour 2 my friend on dnc decided to kill fistule for shits and giggles. 6 hours later we have ran off all comp missed only 2 pops and had over 20 discharges with her on dnc soloing it while i kept 1 shooting flans on blm. 6 hours of min work 0 TH and 1/2 of fistule stage was done it is the easiest empy stage 2nded by calaboose. *she was dnc/sam also would have been easier /nin *

There may only be one Fistule, but most weapons have a heavily camped timed spawn NM to kill. For Chloris you have to try to get claim on Chukwa and kill several other NMs just to pop him. For Glavoid you need to try to get Adze and Minhocao, both timed spawn, as well as killing other NMs for pop items and key items, and then kill Glavoid. There are many more like this.

Personally I hate that any of the weapon stages contain timed spawn NMs, it makes the process much more frustrating when they are heavily camped. But compared to some of the others stages, Fistule is relatively easy.
